We offer an initial Free telephone consultation to discuss our services and for you to have the opportunity to find the perfect package of care. 

As standard, our labour services come with being on call 24/7 for emergencies and labour support.

Regardless of the package you choose, My Private Midwife will maintain the same excellent standard of care.

Individual Services

One-off Antenatal Visit

£180
  • Home appointment
  • A full assessment of your current NHS record
  • Your visits will be personalised to you and we can include a discussion of a variety of topics including nutritional advice, creating a detailed birth plan, tips for labour and birth as well as preparation for your baby's arrival
  • Antenatal home visits can include a full antenatal check including checking up on the wellbeing and development of your baby by listening to their heartbeat, assessing growth/size, assess positions to identify whether your baby may be in breach. We can also perform blood pressure checks and urine tests

One-off Postnatal Visit

  • Home appointment
  • Essential postnatal mother and baby checks including baby weights, jaundice monitoring, monitoring the health and development of your baby, new-born blood spot screening and recovery post-birth
  • Specialist breastfeeding advice and support.
  • Discussions on colic and reflux

Labour Preparation (Including Birth Planning)

This 90 minute appointment takes place in your home or online. The visit is personalised to meet your needs with discussion of  topics including:

  • Birth planning
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Instinctive birthing
  • Waterbirth
  • Early labour techniques
  • Birthing positions
  • Guidance on birth bag packing
  • Use of alternative remedies

Early Pregnancy and Nutrition online

This visit takes place via online video or call  and is suitable from your first trimester. The appointment will be personalised to meet your needs and will include discussions on nutritional topics including: 

  • Diet nutrition 
  • Food safety 
  • Supplements
  • Early pregnancy symptoms
  • Your journey ahead

Support Packages

Antenatal Package

Six visits £1300

Including 24 hour on call between visits
This package provides you with antenatal care from your first trimester until your final visit before labour. Your midwife will be on hand 24/7 to give you advice and support at home during your pregnancy. Care is individualised to meet your personal needs and can supplement current NHS care or replace it. We specialise in supporting clients with anxiety disorders.

  • Your own dedicated Midwife
  • Visits can be started from your very first trimester
  • Six , eight or twelve home visits
  • Your antenatal visits will be personalised to you and we include a discussion of a variety of topics including nutritional advice, creating a detailed birth plan, tips for labour and birth as well as preparation for your baby's arrival
  • Full health check including checking up on the wellbeing and development of your baby by listening to their heartbeat, assessing growth/size, assess positions to identify whether your baby may be breach. We can also perform blood pressure checks and urine tests
  • On-Call antenatal support 24/7

Postnatal Packages

Four visits + 1 week on call £1200

All packages include on-call support for 6 wks

This package provides you with postnatal care within the first 4 weeks following your labour. Your midwife will be on hand to give you advice and support during home visits whilst you are recovering. Care is individualised to meet your personal needs and can supplement current NHS care or replace it. We specialise in supporting clients with anxiety disorders.

  • Your own Dedicated Midwife
  • Includes either 4, 6 or 8 appointments. Four visit package is provided daily within the first week. Six visit package is provided within the first two weeks. Eight visit package is provided within the first three to four weeks.
  • We can carry out essential postnatal mother and baby checks including baby weights, jaundice monitoring, monitoring the health and development of your baby, new-born blood spot screening and recovery post-birth
  • We specialise in maternal nutrition and breastfeeding advice and support
  • On-Call postnatal support 24/7 during your in call period 
  • WhatsApp group support chat to include partners

Mini Package: Hospital Support

£6400
Our basic package includes support exclusively within the hospital during established labour. This is most suitable for women who have given birth before, since there are fewer visits.

  • Your own dedicated midwife and backup midwife
  • Midwifery labour support giving you one-to-one care and continual support during active labour, from your chosen midwives
  • This package does not include early labour support at home. 
  • Advocacy and emotional support to ensure you get the birth you want
  • Expertise and informational guidance
  • Your visits will be personalised to you and we include a discussion of a variety of topics including nutritional advice, creating a detailed birth plan, tips for labour and birth as well as preparation for your baby's arrival
  • 4 antenatal appointments include a full health check including checking up on the wellbeing and development of your baby by listening to their heartbeat, assessing growth/size, assess positions to identify whether your baby may be in breach. We can also perform blood pressure checks and urine tests

Silver Package: Home or Hospital Support

£7200
Our silver maternity care package includes support for you during your pregnancy, Labour, and postnatal period. 

  • Your own dedicated midwife and backup midwife
  • Early labour assessments in the comfort of your home
  • A second midwife during planned home birth.
  • If transfer to hospital is required during a planned home birth, we will continue to provide you with telephone support while your are in hospital. We will not have a clinical role in the hospital. 
  • Midwifery labour support giving you one-to-one care and continual support during active labour from your chosen midwives
  • Advocacy and emotional support to ensure you get the birth you want
  • Expertise and informational guidance
  • Your visits will be personalised to you and we include a discussion of a variety of topics including nutritional advice, creating a detailed birth plan, tips for labour and birth as well as preparation for your baby's arrival
  • 6 antenatal appointments with a Full health check that includes checking up on the wellbeing and development of your baby by listening to their heartbeat, assessing growth/size, assess positions to identify whether your baby may be in breach. Gold Package: Home Birth Support

£8400 includes

3 midwives

Our Gold maternity care package includes support for you during your pregnancy, labour, and postnatal period. Your visits will be carried out every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, then fortnightly until 36 weeks, then weekly until delivery of your baby. We specialise in supporting clients with anxiety disorders.

  • Early labour assessments in the comfort of your home
  • Midwifery labour support giving you one-to-one care and  support during labour from your chosen midwives
  • Advocacy and emotional support to ensure you get the birth you want
  • Expertise and informational guidance

  • If transfer to hospital is required, we will continue to provide telephone support during your hospital labour but we won’t have a clinical role in the hospital.
